A heavy-duty swing-away spare tire carrier that provides full rear vehicle access while securely carrying oversized tires up to 38 inches.

The Wilco Offroad Offset HitchGate Left is designed for full-size trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, and overland vehicles that require a durable spare tire carrier without sacrificing towing capability. Built around a universal Class III 2-inch hitch receiver design, the Offset HitchGate carries oversized spare tires while maintaining access to your cargo area and preserving valuable ground clearance.

The driver-side swing-out design opens up to 160 degrees, allowing unobstructed access to rear cargo areas, tailgates, truck beds, and storage systems. An integrated Class IV receiver allows continued use of hitch-mounted accessories or towing applications, making the Offset HitchGate one of the most versatile tire carrier systems available.

Important Fitment Notes

  • Requires at least 4.5" of clearance behind the hitch pin hole for proper Wedge Lock operation.
  • The face of the hitch receiver must be flush with the rear bumper or recessed no more than 1.5".
  • Requires a minimum of 8" clearance from the top of the hitch receiver to the bottom of the rear hatch or tailgate.
  • Zero-offset or shallow-offset wheels may require a wheel spacer.
  • Not compatible with vehicles equipped with clamshell-style rear doors.
  • Not recommended for Toyota Land Cruiser clamshell rear doors, Lexus LX models, and similar applications.

Towing Capacity
