DEVOS LightRanger 1200

DEVOS LightRanger 1200

Light more space with less hassle using the DEVOS LightRanger 1200. Delivering up to 1,200 lumens across an area up to 60 feet in diameter, this rechargeable portable area light raises illumination overhead to create broader, more comfortable coverage for campsites, patios, grill areas, outdoor work, travel, and emergency backup.

The LightRanger 1200 is a versatile middle ground between smaller utility lights and larger high-output area lighting systems. Its telescoping tripod extends from 3 feet to 9 feet, positioning the light above your setup instead of directly at eye level. The result is more usable illumination with less harsh glare and fewer hard shadows than a tabletop lantern or low-mounted flashlight.

Selectable four-, two-, or one-panel operation and dimmable 5000K white light let you adjust the lighting to the situation. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers approximately 3.75 hours of runtime on high or up to 80 hours on low, while USB-C charging, emergency device output, and support for compatible external power sources make the LightRanger 1200 useful at camp, around the house, and during unexpected power outages.

Why Overhead Lighting Works Better

Traditional lanterns and portable work lights are often positioned at table or ground level, placing bright light directly in your line of sight and creating hard shadows around people and equipment. The LightRanger 1200 takes a different approach by raising its light source as high as 9 feet above the ground.

Positioning the light overhead creates broader, more comfortable illumination for cooking, unpacking, grilling, playing cards, organizing gear, setting up camp, or working outside after sunset. It also keeps the light source off your table and frees your hands from carrying a flashlight or constantly wearing a headlamp.

Up to 60 Feet of Area Coverage

With up to 1,200 lumens and a 60-foot diameter coverage area, the LightRanger 1200 can illuminate substantially more space than a typical close-range utility light.

Its combination of output and portability makes it well suited for campsites, overland setups, backyard gatherings, grilling stations, vendor tents, sheds, waterfront properties, outdoor projects, and emergency situations where permanent lighting isn't available.

Adjustable Light Zones & Brightness

The LightRanger 1200 lets you adjust both the number of active panels and overall brightness instead of requiring maximum output every time you use it.

• 4-Panel Operation: Provides broad surrounding illumination when maximum area coverage is needed.
• 2-Panel Operation: Reduces the active lighting area when full coverage isn't necessary.
• 1-Panel Operation: Provides more localized illumination for smaller work areas and tasks.
• Dimmable Brightness: Fine-tune the light output based on your environment and runtime needs.

Compact, Fast to Set Up & Easy to Pack

The LightRanger 1200 combines its lighting system and telescoping tripod into a portable setup designed to travel. The tripod adjusts from 3 feet to 9 feet, giving you the flexibility to position the light for a variety of environments while packing down for transportation and storage.

At approximately 4 lbs., it's easy to keep in an overland vehicle, camping kit, garage, gear closet, or emergency preparedness setup without the bulk of a permanent area-lighting system.

Battery, Charging & Runtime

• Battery: Rechargeable Lithium-Ion
• High Runtime: Approximately 3.75 Hours
• Low Runtime: Up to 80 Hours

The USB-C device output adds another useful function during travel or emergencies. When a compatible phone or small electronic device needs a quick boost, the LightRanger 1200 can provide backup charging power from its rechargeable battery.

Portable Backup Lighting for Power Outages

The same features that make the LightRanger 1200 useful at camp also make it a practical backup lighting system at home. During a power outage, the freestanding telescoping design can illuminate a wide area without requiring household power, extension cords, or a generator.

USB-C device charging provides additional utility when keeping a compatible phone or other small electronic device powered becomes important.
