What to Bring:

Vehicle: Half the fun is seeing where your vehicle can take you! We do have some minimum requirements that your vehicle must adhere to though:
  • All vehicles must be legal for highway travel, licensed, insured, and have current registration in their respective state of origin.
  • There must be seatbelts for all passengers.
  • Vehicles must be in good mechanical repair with working headlights, taillights, turn signals, brakes, etc. Vehicles cannot be leaking any fluids.
Communications: We will be using GMRS radios on the trail to communicate. If you have one, please bring it and enjoy some witty banter along with the scenery.
Food and Beverages: All participants must be self-sufficient for food and drink. This is a day trip, so plan for lunch and snacks along the way. Make sure you have plenty of water in addition to whatever other drinks you might be packing. We might be heading out of the heat, but it’s always important to stay as hydrated as possible.
Clothing: At elevation it could be 20 to 30 degrees cooler than it is in the Salt Lake Valley, so be sure to pack appropriate clothing for you in those conditions.
Other Gear: A camera to document the fun, a camp chair to relax in, a hat to keep your head in the shade, sunglasses so you look cool; and whatever else you’d like to bring to make the trip enjoyable!
